Masala Mantra - The Indian Bistro: Authentic Indian Cuisine in Cape Coral

The food was good, the jalfrezi was very good. There was a good mix between vegetarian and non veg dishes. They did lack any kind of veg appetizers. No samosas, pakoras, chaat etc and there was just a single seviyan/vermicelli kheer desert. Not too busy and very attentive and polite staff.

The food was delicious. I'm from Miami and we don't have anything like this there. Their buffet was very reasonable. The goat was amazing. The seasoning was incredibly. The eggplant and naan alone are worth going back for. The server was very kind. I plan to go back and try their other food next time I am in Sanibel. It's not far away.

This restaurant is a whole experience. The food feels like a hug from your grandma. Like the chef poured all there love cooking in it. Now don't let the outside fool you. When you walk in the atmosphere is so warm and inviting. From the beautiful wallpaper to the lovely granite table tops. The staff are friendly and helpful. The menu's are on interactive tablets with amazing photos that clearly include the prices and ingredients.

We celebrated my son’s birthday here in December, and I honestly cannot say enough good things about Masala Mantra. We had a large family party with kids, and from the moment we arrived, everything was handled with total ease and professionalism. The service was impeccable—our server, Austin, delivered true five-star service from start to finish and made sure every detail was perfect. The food came out promptly (no long waits like you sometimes get with large groups), and everything was hot, fresh, and beautifully prepared. What truly set this place apart was the extraordinary attention to detail. My favorite dish—and my son’s—wasn’t even on the menu: Mattar Paneer (peas and cheese). We asked if it could be made, and not only did they say yes, but it turned out to be the best version we’ve ever had. Absolutely outstanding. The chef and owners were present, checking on tables, making sure everyone was happy, and clearly taking pride in every plate that left the kitchen. That level of care is rare and deeply appreciated. Even family members who don’t typically enjoy Indian food were blown away. Every single person loved their meal. Handling a big party with kids is no small feat—and they did it effortlessly (unlike me, and I’m related to these kids ). Masala Mantra already has a 4.8-star rating, but in my book, it deserves far more. Exceptional food, exceptional service, and a genuinely welcoming experience. We will absolutely be back—and often. Highly, highly recommend.

I had such a wonderful experience here! The food was absolutely delicious—full of flavor and perfectly prepared. What really made the visit extra special was the service. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday. Our server Reuben was attentive, kind, and went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. It’s rare to find a place that gets both the food and the service just right, but this restaurant does. Highly recommend!

My wife and I absolutely love Masala Mantra Indian Bistro — it’s hands down the best Indian food in Southwest Florida. We’ve been coming here regularly, and everything we’ve tried has been amazing. I especially enjoy the Chana Masala — it’s full of flavor and always perfectly cooked. Their weekday lunch buffet is a great option if you want to try a little bit of everything, and the service is consistently excellent — always friendly and attentive. Our only gripe is that prices have gone up noticeably over the past year, but honestly, the food and experience are still worth it. We’ll continue to be loyal customers. Highly recommend!

Crossed the Cape Coral bridge to get to the Saturday 47th Terrace Farmer's Market followed by their annual Arts Fest down several blocks of Cape Coral Parkway and stayed to get lunch at Masala Mantra Indian Restaurant. As usual, I started with the always perfect Samosas, then, with the help of Reuban and Kemi, I chose the whole, grilled Three Spice Red Snapper. The description promised juicy fish inside and did not disappoint. Oh, but those sauces really brought it all together. That dark yellow one is a buttery coconut curry and the red sauce to the left of it was sweet and oniony, equally delicious. I highly recommend Masala Mantra, whether you order off the menu or go straight to the buffet.
